Alacantara and Leather seats. Pricing and where to get it done.

I called for this exact setup in my IS F. They wanted about $1500 to do the front and back seats, although they were going to use Katskin Leather (eww, no thank you)...reminds me of american cars.

Easily a $1500.00 job. If the best materials and a real craftsman is doing it. Where are you located?
There is also a Recaro option. Aftermarket seat but they have options to add heat and cooling just like OEM seats. But its defintiely pricey though |
I agree with the $1500 estimate.
Keep in mind if you go aftermarket seats you're going to lose your integrated side air bags, which you might want to keep if the car is driven mostly on the street. |
Why not just wait for a set of our stock leather/ alacantara seats to go on sale on the forum? I've seen a few sets in the past year. Plus recovered seats never look as good as stock, the leather is never wrapped as tight and looks like crap IMO.
If I didn't have the sport package I would have gone aftermarket by now, just don't want to lose my heated/ power seats. |
