I have been driving my wifes car since the cluster is out (waiting on LEDs). Today she left so I had to take the Z. I used a GPS for the speedo. I made it about 10 miles before my car shut off. Apparently when it doesnt see the cluster it turns off the alternator.... Lesson learned I connected the circuit boards back and it turned it back on. Just an FYI for everyone.
