That's true, for those 10 seconds or less, I'd be free..

Rice in full effect.

Talk to Bullitt@UAMotorsports, he has custom widened front/rear fenders for his Z.

@OP
our fenders look fine, lots of flare stock lol

Carbon_z 12-19-2012 12:27 AM

Those go on a jeep... To do it right you would have to blend with all panels and paint. 370z. IMO is wide enough. But check out bullitt thread and car. It's so wide it has 20x13 rear wheels

Agreed the 370Z in its stock form can handle way more than you think OP! Adding another 30mm of flare would require stupid offset to fill!

Do your homework OP!

Who ever first uttered the two words "Hella" and "flush" at the same time needs shot. This is like the triple popped collar. One fender flare is just not enough, MUST HAVE MOAR FENDER FLARE!!! I don't care for it, the riveted look, the fender flare on top of fender flare. Looks "Hella Gay" in my opinion. I must be getting old or something.

Shamu 12-19-2012 08:32 AM

Those don't look like 350z specific flares. Probably could do same thing on 370. Those flares look pretty generic to me. Pretty ugly too!

bldg636 12-19-2012 08:52 AM

I'm from Florida, and the only place you see bolt on fender flares like that are on big dodge diesel duallies. . . they have no place on a 370z . . . . keep the fender flares to the honda civic crowd . . . major fail!

VDC_OFF 12-19-2012 09:17 AM

Those are universal.

Reaper42 12-19-2012 11:11 AM

Its not a matter of being wider or "flush" scene. The fender flare the OP is referencing to are actually a very retro design dating back to the original 280.

I also really want something like this for our cars, not to make it wider necessarily, but to give it that retro look. ANY sickly modified 260, 280, etc has these off color (most often carbon fiber or flat black) bolted on look, fender flares.

SS_Firehawk 12-19-2012 11:26 AM

The original Z's were as flat as Kansas, it actually works for it. The 370Z has curves for days. It's the same as Kim Kardashian getting a$$ implants. There is a such thing as too much of a good thing.

Nope not 20x13.

Nope not 20x13. I am only 20x13 so far.

He has 20x12, still wider than most 370s.

It’s not the stance that gets me. I like low (Stance/Flush). It’s the kit that is RICE!!!

Ni55anPat 12-19-2012 12:43 PM

i don't think it looks terrible

call me a ricer, but i really like the Rocket Bunny kits that have come out lately for the S13/s14 and FRS.. I'd be curious if they ever plan on doing anything like that for our cars..

Frs kit:

THE ROCKET BUNNY FR-S - Speedhunters

The shape isn't bad, but I just think that riveted-on look doesn't work well with a sportscar. Jeep or big truck? Sure. Go for it. But I think it destroys the lines on a car.

*And yes, I know that do it on rally cars and other race cars, but that's a practical reason so they can be changed quickly if needed.
