Just bringing this forward so people see.

Quality. Our B pillar price is $175.00 plus free shipping.

We start off by adding two layers of clear UV resistant gel coat on the mold and that takes about 2 hrs including drying time.

We then apply three layers of carbon fiber and one layer of fiberglass (we make them a tad thicker now). We infuse the resin.

Once that cures we then demold them, trim them, sand the surface, and apply a UV resistant coat of DuPont clear coat.

We let that dry over night, wet sand in the morning, apply another coat of clear and let that dry.

The next day we wet sand, buff, and polish.

I say it several times a week and I'll never get tired of saying it. With most things in life ESPECIALLY carbon fiber, you get what you pay for. If its cheap its no good, if its good its not cheap. Many carbon fiber and fiberglass workers will say the same thing.

We have to charge so much because of the quality of carbon fiber and resin we use. The consumer has to take into consideration the price of materials, other shop expenses, pay for the employees, the cost of the equipment for vacuum bagging and oven curing, the cost of clear (over 250 a gal of DuPont clear), and there’s just so much more that comes into play.

I never bash other competitors and businesses but when you see carbon fiber parts so cheap (and I'm saying this in general, not pointing fingers) you have to really think where can they be cutting costs? Materials, time, labor, expertise?

Most people know this.

Evo R though makes VERY good products and I can attest to that on my z. SO really not sure where your going with this, but still doesnt make sense that the fangs are pretty much the same price and way more carbon fiber. Not sure if anyone else made this connection?

Like I said. Allot of time and effort goes into each one individually. We use high quality materials, and were a smaller opperation so we have to charge what is best suited to us just as in every company charges what best suites them. Also notice Evo R has 20x more to sell then we do so they can afford to charge less. We have a hand full of products and services since we are so small.

I saw the evo-r front fang cover and yes it may be a nice piece but here is my problem with their products. Of all the products that I have seen personally and on the web NONE of their product's cf weave is straight or matched... Look at the fangs cover it looks like 2-3 sheets of cf at different angles and none of the weave is uniformed! In my opinion that is FAIL! It's not a clean looking product but is also a cheaper product because of that. Cf is meant to be uniform with straight weave and a seamless look. The spawn aero products are straight weave with one sheet of cf... One whole sheet to make a product not 2-3 sheets which will be structurally weaker. Cf gains it's strength in it's weave and idk about evo-r's products but I know I have put the spawn aero parts through some rough testing and they hold up flawlessly! Why... Because they are made from one seamless sheet and it has several coats of hi-quality clear. Again, u are comparing an overlay to a complete own replacement! It's apples and oranges man!

No i understand it, but in reality we can say what we want, but the truth is the truth. They are a smaller operation so to make it worthwile, it has to be priced in their range and that I can understand. Honestly for saying that, makes me want to buy your product now b/c you are straight up guys as I can tell by your workmanship and your comments.

Def a good job no matter what.

I just feel sorry that John has gotten such a bad reputation for being so late with the products. I really get the feel after reading all of these pages that he is a good guy; just busy and jumped in too quickly. Good luck with your business and I hope that people will put trust in you over time... Thanks for being an honest person.

And thank you guys! We did talk a little too much and we did say "sure we can do this in this amount of time" which was bad I'll admit. But now we are slowing down what we say and letting the work catch up. For example we are releasing a CF splitter for the G37next week but we didnt start any threads until we have something to show.

Other then that all of our issues as far as equipment and such is gone and we are just working on preducing products and trying to get more carbon fiber interior wrapped jobs out there.
