I concur with the battery drain. I bought the Elm blutooth off of amazon. Pretty good device for my use, but I have to unplug it to keep the battery from draining. There are some better ones out there that have an auto shut-off that prevent this from happening.

Hey guys just wanted to update. I received my ELM327 and my 8GB Galaxy nexus. Spent the night rooting, installing custom 4.2.1 jelly bean OS and doing various performance and power saver mods. Well I have the nexus all setup and ready to rock and roll for tomorrows drive to work. Sadly it won't be mounted as of yet because I need to take the cover of my dash. Anyways here's a pic :tup:
