Before I bought my 13, I was looking for a 12 since I really liked the fangs. Now after I got the 13, the bumper grew on me and now stands out. The 13 does still have fangs, however they are all black and smaller than before.

Black out (remove/get rid of somehow) of the fangs and you've got your 13' front minus the tacky led jewelry

I know the '13 has fangs but you have to be right up close to see them and IMO that takes away form the overall look the original 370 had.

Even a blacked out front on 09-12 still looks better/more aggressive then the new one, you can still see all the details on the bumper even blacked out

I have the '13 and the LED side markers is pretty cool at night time.
I just wish i can figure out on how to keep the headlights and the LED lights on at the sametime.

its funny how people admire the fangs so much so that many people black them out or carbon cover them lol

i like both my 12 and the 13's

i wouldnt mind a 13 front end.

Blacking them out or CF over them doesn't take them away, just changes the look. Not like guys are cutting them out :ugh2:

With the fangs blacked out, they look non existsant from a distance. I do however really like the fangs, but the 13 is a nice look also.

Will the evo-r front lip fit on the 2013 front?

Not without some modification, cutting molding etc.

The new 15's will be here before you'll know it~~ Don't get your panties all wet over the new front end of the 13's, its just a old face lift!!! LOL

Yeah, but I'll be happy with a subtle lip.

I think people don't like the new bumper for the same reason that when the 370 first came out. Everybody used to say the 350 is way better and looks much nicer, IMO they say this because 1 they had a 350 and couldn't afford a 370 2 could only afford a used 350 and 3 they just bought a 350 right before the 370 came out and where jealous and disappointed that they didn't have the newest model.

Going back to OP question yeah I don't think people would trade but like cooltoy said once they buy a body they will probably put their kit for sale

^^ I got both and I only bought a Veilside V1 for the 350Z. Some people just want a subtle lip, you know?

I definitely understand what you're saying. I think some of us are legitimately not jealous of the new bumper though. It would be easy for someone to swap from an 09-12 bumper to a '13 bumper or vice versa if they decided it was worth the price. It wouldn't be too hard to do the swap

Yes the 2013 bumper will fit on older models. I have an 09 and i put the new bumper on. It's really expensive. Each Led is over $600. I get 30% percent off at nissan, so it wasn't too bad. The only modding necessary was the the washer fluid tank. The passenger side LED hits the tank. I had my guys melt the tank down and mold it to the Back of the LED.
