Pearl White 370z Plasti Dip Fangs
So Ive been doing some research on here and many other sites about the Plasti Dip product and I decided what the heck, lets try something with my fangs.
This is my 1st time using the product so there were some spots i didnt cover well enough, but the good thing is, you can lay another coat over. I believe I did 5-6 coats, My front bumper is tore up alot from rock chips and I thought id might as well do a few extra coats to compensate. Check out the pics!! http://imageshack.us/a/img594/8500/photo6fi.th.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img22/6965/photo10tv.th.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img689/4111/photo9cu.th.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img689/6879/photo8js.th.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img221/6738/photo7mn.th.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img843/6504/photo5tgn.th.jpg |
If it looks as good in person as it does in the photos I'd say you've done an excellent job; congratulations.

I did my grille area down to the bottom edge on my Nismo nose last weekend. I did four progressively heavier coats.
PlastiDip is probably the best product to use for these areas as they are so susceptible to rock chips. Something I would suggest - before you pull the masking tape off, score the edge with an exacto knife for a laser-sharp edge. It akes a very light touch and a steady hand. Just take your time. Also, did you know this stuff touches-up great? I had a small part that I miss-masked. I shot some Dip in a cup and used a small modeler's brush to cover the bare area. The Dip flowed into the gap and leveled-out perfectly. |
