Default Parts question.

So I had some damage to my wheel, washer fluid reservoir, and front passenger wheel well liner.

So I got an invoice from my local nissan dealership and most of the things are more than double what i can get the parts online for so I am going to go that route.

My question is about the splash gaurd as the pricing seems like it *can't* be right...

The parts they gave me:

28910-1EA0A Tank ASMY-WINDS $209.30
63842-1EA0A PROTECTOR-FRONT $104.37
(these seem right)
63832:JK600 Splash Garud-FR $9.32

Also there is some damage to my under-carrage area (plastic you take off to do an oil change). Anyone know what that part is? I was looking on this awesome site that had everything divided up nicely with pictures but was having trouble finding it on:

747 Floor Fitting :: Body(Front,Roof & Floor) :: Genuine Nissan Parts :: 370Z Parts (Z34) 2009-2012 :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com

I am not seeing the under shroud on the Courtesy Parts site. You might want to check out the Z Speed Aluminum ones though, they are NICE!

ZSpeed Performance Aluminum Engine Splash Shield 370Z Nissan

I have a windshield washer reservoir and pump I'd sell you for MUCH less than the dealer price. Shoot me a PM if you like.

Trust me, you want this. It's much better than the OEM one, and I'll bet the cost is pretty close to the same.

Houkouonchi,
I would honestly WALK AWAY from that dealership. Their pricing is RIDICULOUS! For example, on part # 28910-1EA0A. You state that they set the price at $209.30. Nissan MSRP on that part is only $139.53 and even at that price, we [Z1 Motorsports] would list it on our website for sale at $118.60.

I will PM you with more details on your request. I actually have a few of these items in stock, lightly used. This will save you even more money.

The 63832-JK600 pricing is actually correct. But are you sure that is the correct part you need?? That piece is a very small piece of plastic that attaches to the front fender liner and frame rail. It is mostly a small cover panel.

Courtesy refers and Nissan North America refers to the part as a "Cover-Engine Under". The nomenclature used by Nissan sounds like broken english in most cases.

We sell the same part through our website as well. The best OEM parts resource for finding part numbers and OEM MSRP prices for Nissan parts is: Nissan eStore

That is a good starting point to get OEM Nissan part numbers or to get a baseline for pricing...to keep the dealerships honest. It will also make it much easier for sponsoring vendors like us to get you a quote much more quickly.

I know the prices quoted are ridiculous and I was not going to get them through the dealer. My main question was regarding the under engine shroud and the splash guard which seemed way to cheap.

I am leaning towards that Zspeed engine shroud cover. Anyone know what OEM part(s) this replaces?

It replaces the plastic under shroud that covers up the bottom of the engine. It's the part you have to remove/peel back when you change the oil.

Did you still pay less than the original dealer quoted you?

Yes, over $100 less. The prices quoted by the dealer were ridiculous.
