Who can do a Custom Hood
 

I'm looking for a hood that keeps the lines of the stock hood but has a single large vent from the middle. Everything I see gets rid of the stock hoods character lines, which I think is a travesty. I would also like vents near the top corners of the hood to act as a heat extractor for the heat coming off the exhaust manifolds or headers. The image below is the closest thing I could find. (a model car at that) Take those side vents, and put them on the hood where I described and it would be nearly perfect. Am I the only one dreaming of this? And where would I go with the proposed design?

Almost... but not exactly

I like it, but I didn' care for the vent style and placement, maybe about another foot back. I'm nitpicking I know, but as weird as it sounds, my Wife argues with me about changing any of the aesthetics. I was looking at some dudes Sparco seats on sell here, and she complained because the letters were white... I like the Volk G20's, she likes the stock SP ones. She even questioned me wanting to change the head unit.

This is my design, and I have many others... but this is one that came to life.

Here is a pic of a hood I am currently working on. I took some 1980 280zx NACA hood ducts and cut them into a hood. This is not the best pic but it is the only one I have loaded onto my profile.

Yes! Add that to the first pic and thats what I'm looking for. Naca duct placement is exactly where I was thinking.

you still have the spare hood?

I have the one that I modified and the original I have on my car. When I didnt hear back from you I thought you had found one.
