wipers in winter

For those of you who drive your Z's in the winter, how do the stock wipers hold up in snow and ice? Mine are still pretty brand new (car was purchased in June).

Those spineless blades are terrible in winter. Do yourself a favor and change them out for winter with some that have a frame to support them when they freeze up.

The Bosch ICON's look to be pretty good ...

For some reason they are available for 2011 Z's but not 2012's ... I'm assuming the wiper sizes and mountings are the same between the two years?

Also, there is the Rain-X Latitude ...

and the PIAA Si-Tech ...

Yep in NC, you wouldn't. Try having them freeze to your windscreen and have 3 or 4 inches of heavy wet snow on top of that.... they crumble ( read bend) under the stress.
