Repairing salvage 370z
Friends I have an opportunity to acquire this interesting 370z, but as I do some repairs wrecked, I change:
door Driver airbag Passenger airbag Pilot seat airbag In good to know: You need to place a new front and rear fender? Affected open sensor front tire pressure? The steering and suspension left front tire will hit? The airbag sensors should I change? in where? Please tell me. ASAP |

Repairable as long as the chassis isn't twisted/damaged. The hardest part will be the rear quarter panel.

You're right on the front panel thought change a new one, which is the most damaged, change the door and rear iron it is possible?
But I worry about the air bag sensors. Everything else is changing. Not appear to have affected the chassis, but the fender. What do you think? |

That looks well over 8k to repair. Not worth it!!! Airbags an sensors alone will be around 3k for a new set. I would not risk my life by getting used airbags

Honestly this is bad and not worth it. The body frame is damaged as far as the pictures can tell. Doors, interior panels im pretty sure its banged up, wheels, quarter panels, prolly ur brakes are meshed up too. Seats, Airbags, mirrors, fenders, paint and installation. These are the obvious so go figure if it's worth it.. Unless you can the whole car for under 5k den go ahead. =)! anw good luck and have fun if you choose to go on with it.

What I say is true, but it is also true that the air bag to change (original course) would be a necessary investment. And the fenders, at least the front is a change. The board may be back? The rest is repaired with carbon fiber.
The vehicle price I offer is good, and like every project takes effort and time. Wonder as pictures: If I change the airbags, sensors should I change? and what? I see that the left front wheel seems a little tack, you can fix that? I guess it's just mechanical. Thanks for your help |

The car suffered a good amount of side damage; hit a railing of some sort at a good rate of speed. The left side rims are destroyed which mean, the suspension, brackets, braces, etc. could have bent and sustained major damage. You probably will not be able to align this car back to factory specs. The frame its self may have endured damage by the impact as well but hard to tell.
Of course you will need air bags, but its up to you if you want to replace these. Cosmetic repairs are obvious, front headlight, front bumper, fender, door, rear quarter panel, rear light and bumper. You are looking at a very high cost to repair without the guarantee the car will ever drive normal. Unfortunately there is a good chance you will never truly get a feel for how the Z really drives. Return of investment is pretty much zero because if you were to sell the car, you will hardly get anything for it with a salvaged title along with the cost of depreciation. Why don’t you chop it and sell it for parts? |

I would advise against fixing it unless you are willing to spend around 12-15k to get it fixed. I know this sine I crashed my Z 2 weeks ago and I got quoted 16k to get it fixed, including air bags. Parts for this car are expensive.

Are you into drifting? No? Then dont buy it! As for me I would buy it in a heartbeat. New Fenders, Body Kit, Suspension arms, wheels, racing seats, custom steering wheel, gut it, rollcage, Carbon Fiber Doors and for the rear quarter, chop it and slap some of these Chris Forsberg fenders on it!
