Wide Body stock looking FENDERS... (custom only??)
Are there any wide body option kits for the Z that don't look retarded with wacky designs and stuff like that?
Just something that looks stock but just wider... I'm thinking it is gonna have to be a custom job to get that done since I've not seen anything that looks half decent. Let me know if anyone's aware of anything, I'd love to take a look. Cheers.

Im thinking only custom. I remember a while back seeing, I guess you could say fender "extensions" but they were only about 10cm. They were more of a fender liner, out from the bottom of the fender and along the outside of the wheel well.

My rears are completely stock looking. 3" wider on each side.
Expect BIG $$$ if you want to follow suit. I am contemplating making molds for people who want to do the same as me. Mike

$10k+ from a decent shop... its all metal and its labor intensive.

I guess the only way to go is to do it yourself (with a friend with a machine shop)
Not very practical otherwise. Not until someone comes up with a way of mass producing them for a kit (front + rear) for about 3k or less.

Hence why I was thinking of doing molds of my rears...

If you make add-ons we have to get our rear quarters cut and the attachments welded in. Simply molding them in with some kind of bondo/fiberglass would never come out good long term. Then making some kind of fender well so it looks stock.....I have researched this ALOT and there is no getting around spending 8-13k dollars for this. (Just the Rear)

Actually we can make Frp and cf over fenders that can simPly be riveted on. The only thing that would need to be cut would be the side lip on the fender. As far as making it look seamless a good bondo job on the seams and rivets can clean it up nicely. Your talking sub $5k job on the rear alone. That's half of what I paid on mine.

Making adapters for the side skirt is the problem as well as for the rear bumper...
