Hardwired my radar & GPS

I looked at that bracketed install and like the way it looks as well as the sturdiness of it all but it sits the radar unit down too low for

I looked at that bracketed install and like the way it looks as well as the sturdiness of it all but it sits the radar unit down too low for my taste. I wanted it sitting up higher and almost flush with the mirror.

These same guys make an adjustable pivot mount that would allow a more flush fitting up toward the mirror. I thought this was going to annoy me too, but surprisingly it doesn't and does not seem a distraction in right hand sweepers.... I've gotten used to it..
