Shine auto rear spats color matching
Hey guys I just purchased the shine auto rear spats and had a question about painting them. I know some vendors paint them before shipping while others don't. My question is, for those who purchased the rear spats or body kits in general that didn't come pre-painted, what steps did you take to make sure the paint properly matched? Did you take them to the dealership or body-shop? And if so, how much did you pay? I drive a 2010 platinum graphite Z and heard color matching is a bitch. Thanks in advance.

I paid $270. Paint matched 100%.

$270 for just the paint? geez thats more than the spats! was this done at the dealership?
|
I paid $120 and its matched. Just go shop around abit.
|
I paid $150 at a body shop. Took them a week to get the right material. If you want great results, be patience and do not be cheap! Do your research and choose a reputable body shop.

Does the painting get done on the car or off the car?
|
I had mine done at a local body shop for 175.00

I'm getting my EVO-R rear diffuser, EVO-R front spoiler, Shine Auto rear spats & BSD side skirts painted for $350 from a local guy. He painted my tails and 3rd light for $65.
