Not trying to turn you down. But with 8000K it is very "rice like" it's way too blue and the ligh output is less, especially in the rain or on very dark asphalt roads (newly paved) that seem to absorb the light. Nonetheless like you said it is a very cheap mod for $35 and totally reverseable if you don't like it so i say go for it and see if you like it. Good luck.
