i cant put my finger on what it is...
but my car is missing "something" on the exterior to make it look more aggressive. i'm really not sure what imtrying to get at, but i want this thng to look menacing, and right now its still looking stockish. maybe its the conservative stance i have on it right now? or i need more lip or something. maybe someone can give me some opinions on what u think would compliment my current mods to really add some flare to the exterior of this thing

SS stripes. /thread
jk car looks good man |
KEEP IT SIMPLE PLEASE!!! It looks great don't over do it. I'm thinking maybe a bbk. A fog light in the rear perhaps a custom plate. How’s it sound?
I gotta ask is that a lip on the bumber thats the only thing im not feelin. |
Lip kit, without a doubt. You have the stance- check the difference between yours and something with the Sunline kit. Your front lip now is very conservative.

Shine Auto Rear Add ons would make it look pretty good, and maybe a front lip.
|
the lip is very subtle. i feel like some of the bigger ones for our cars just look crazy sometimes. i was thinking maybe some frp side blades and an frp rear diffuser
btw, alreasy have custom plates of "zee yaa" on the car now. pics are before i got that |
You could get some CF goodies like; Side Mirrors, Rear Diffuser, Front Fangs, Front Lip, GTR style Hood ducts etc...

carbon fiber looks very sophisticated on that color.
Check out Kenchan's car |
some EvoR side blades would be perfect.
Compliment the front lip you have and give it a nice stance. or maybe I've just wanted them for a while so I'm biased. |
get rid of the fangs and you're done...
cars look great otherwise... |
Don't be sticking your finger in it.

but, i had been thinking about some black evo r side blades... |
Black out the fangs or get the Evor R CF fangs, black out the rear valance, add rear fog light and boom your are done. Your car will look aggressive without going overboard.
|
how about a hot chick in a bikini to follow you around?? lol
car looks good as is... |

Classy setup, I would just go with a front lip and call it a day
|
Have you seen Trip's Z? Same color, looks pretty damn mean.

I can't stand add-on lip spoilers cause frankly you can tell they were added on. The one and only body kit solution that is acceptable in my opinion is Amuse...It completely replaces the bumper so it appears like it came from factory...There is no added material to disrupt the flow of a smooth body.
Imagine having a hot chic and she wanted to have a bigger butt...what would look more natural...3Ming silicone ontop of her butt or implanting them (Just an example...I prefer the non implanted variety although headlight augmentation is acceptable :roflpuke2:) If your going to get surgery do it right...don't add more lines to a smooth body. |

change my oil. they thought my car was a special model from the factory because it also has the "Fairlady Z" emblem in back. |

I know what you mean but I'm extreme in the sense that even Factory lip kits look out of place. You wont see a Ferrari with a lip kit...and if you do please dont show me cause I may hunt down the owner and assasinate them LMAO! |

Sigh... The Japanese love their rice. :shakes head: |
I kinda agree with you... There are some cars (NOT ALL) that do not need additional wings or splitters. Ferrari being one of them. The car in itself is a wing and does not need additional down force. Really bright engineering goes into designing the body of the car which on its own create hundreds of pounds of down force. Dont want to disrespect the aftermarket manufacturer but come on? Really are you going to outwit the engineers who designed this car?

Nice Car!

The back looks great with the after-market pipes (Stillen?), and I *love* your wheels. Maybe add DRLs on the front.

@ Cheshirecat - THE RAGEEEEEE...If I could afford the plane ticket I would put the Ferrari out of its missery (takes moment of silence)
@ N0SL3N - I still dont like it but not because it wasn't a good concept because they were lazy and attached it to the original wing instead of either molding it or making one solid peice. I'm not going to reward the lazy and cheap. If I go out of my way to purchase a styling (I'm more go then show) item for my car I want to confuse the mases. So much so that few will not be able to tell what car your driving and the slightly educated will think its a special addition. Thus far the stillen kit comes close but it just does not agree with me much which leaves the epic Amuse kit. I would opt out of getting the wing unless I absolutly needed the down force and anything that looks like a vent would be made functional. Form and function is the secret. If its pretty and does nothing scrap it...If it's pretty and performs bag it and tag it. :tiphat: |

forgive my stupidity, but what are drl's? |
DRL = daylight running lamps :)
|
Sunline lip, skirts, spats (color matched so they don't look added on)
Carbon fiber hood (Seibon TS looks good IMO) Powder coat your calipers so they stand out also, possibly black out your tail lights and color match your door handles. |
