I know what you mean but I'm extreme in the sense that even Factory lip kits look out of place. You wont see a Ferrari with a lip kit...and if you do please dont show me cause I may hunt down the owner and assasinate them LMAO!

I kinda agree with you... There are some cars (NOT ALL) that do not need additional wings or splitters. Ferrari being one of them. The car in itself is a wing and does not need additional down force. Really bright engineering goes into designing the body of the car which on its own create hundreds of pounds of down force. Dont want to disrespect the aftermarket manufacturer but come on? Really are you going to outwit the engineers who designed this car?

The one and only body kit solution that is acceptable in my opinion is Amuse...It completely replaces the bumper so it appears like it came from factory...There is no added material to disrupt the flow of a smooth body.

Imagine having a hot chic and she wanted to have a bigger butt...what would look more natural...3Ming silicone ontop of her butt or implanting them (Just an example...I prefer the non implanted variety although headlight augmentation is acceptable :roflpuke2:)

If your going to get surgery do it right...don't add more lines to a smooth body.

I generally don't like the look of added on parts, but this spoiler add on actually looks really good in person.

Nice Car!

The back looks great with the after-market pipes (Stillen?), and I *love* your wheels. Maybe add DRLs on the front.

@ Cheshirecat - THE RAGEEEEEE...If I could afford the plane ticket I would put the Ferrari out of its missery (takes moment of silence)

@ N0SL3N - I still dont like it but not because it wasn't a good concept because they were lazy and attached it to the original wing instead of either molding it or making one solid peice. I'm not going to reward the lazy and cheap. If I go out of my way to purchase a styling (I'm more go then show) item for my car I want to confuse the mases. So much so that few will not be able to tell what car your driving and the slightly educated will think its a special addition.

Thus far the stillen kit comes close but it just does not agree with me much which leaves the epic Amuse kit. I would opt out of getting the wing unless I absolutly needed the down force and anything that looks like a vent would be made functional. Form and function is the secret. If its pretty and does nothing scrap it...If it's pretty and performs bag it and tag it.

:tiphat:

robones 10-05-2012 08:34 AM

DRL = daylight running lamps :)

Sunline lip, skirts, spats (color matched so they don't look added on)
Carbon fiber hood (Seibon TS looks good IMO)
Powder coat your calipers so they stand out

also, possibly black out your tail lights and color match your door handles.

NickTurnon 10-05-2012 09:00 AM

Black out your rear, handles, and front fangs for ($10) with a couple cans of plasti-dip. That will give the front a much more agressive look.. especially with the stillen splitter.

After that I would vinyl black the roof with gloss black. ($100-$150)

I think the black accents make this car.

I'm sure trip's won't mind me posting this

Painted headlights + cf hood look badass on silver

edub370 10-05-2012 10:48 AM

That does look really good. is that a vinyl or plastidip on the front fangs?

sfearl1 10-05-2012 11:21 AM

I think it's plastidip, but don't quote me on that. He also removed the front grille which looks really good.

TheGreatOne 10-05-2012 11:56 AM

Honestly, your car looks pretty good but yes still fairly stock looking.

I think the Shine Auto Rear Spats are a great addition. I find the back in stock form is pretty high. The spats add some depth and actually add to the "wideness" of the Z

The side blades are also subtle and just attach under the stock side skirts. I think they are great and I love mine...

If you don't want to do anything on the body, ten a more aggressive stance would change the look...but hurts drive-ability
