Default Shift knob (not a ball)

After testing out a few shift knobs, stock, a greddy six speed, and some Razo (got for free). The Razo was a ball, similar to what I see in aftermarket Mustangs, the greddy was this (link), and we all know what stock looks like. In the end the best one that fits my hand is the stock shift knob, but I have torn it apart and cannot use it.

So what I am looking for is one similar to the stock shift knob but does not have to be the stock one. I have found the stock shift knob for about 150 through a few online retailers but hoping there might be something just as good in size/feel for a better price. I quickly stopped by Autozone just to see what they keep for in terms of shift knobs and it was a bunch of skulls and sh!tty chrome shift knobs that were all about flare.

Thoughts?

So you want something that looks literally like a stock knob or just an aftermarket that is not a ball?

I love my TWM weighted shifter, I had the Nismo, which sucked, too small/light.
The TWM actually improved the shifting b/c of the added weight. It's about twice the weight of the stock knob, which gives it a really solid feel.
Here is a link to the thread with pics: Weighted Shift Knob Installed

The thing about the stock one is even with my larger hand (mostly long fingers) is it just seems a bit to big. Yet most of the ones I have picked up are way to small, and I know they feel great if I had smaller hands.
Thanks Tony, I am sure it would be great.

I am going to rotate between the two I have left (stock is gone), and maybe in a few weeks pick up another one. I think in the end I will never find the perfect one unless I have it custom made or something.

It looks a little goofy, but after trying a half dozen knobs, this one works just great. A BIG 2.25" diameter, available in a custom thread for the Z...

It isn't cheap, though.
