Hello to all,
First I'd like to say thank you, this forum is amazing. I've been reading and searching 370Z pros and cons for the last two years and just recently purchased a new (2012) roadster. This is my first posting and just wanted to say thank you to all that helped my decision. Second, I have an appointment in about a months time to have the clear bra installed so in the mean time I bought the factory nose mask as a temp solution and perhaps long road trips. My question is....how the heck are you supposed to close the hood? Each piece wraps inside front of the engine compartment, the thickness of the lower mask plus the thinness of the upper mask is enough to prevent the hood closing completely without slamming (which I will not do). I'm thinking I will return this. For owners with the factory nose mask I'd like to hear your experiences, suggestions or remedy. Thank you in advance. Tee |
