Key Fob stopped working, even after new battery....

I have mine booked in for a service consult this week. I will try and get them to replace the fob under warranty. They say they want to diagnose the error in it first, but I am sure they will end up replacing it. No reason that it should not be covered under warranty...

Mine always work from a certain distance, but it was always like that, as long as the windows go up/down when I press it twice good to go.
