I like to coat myself in vegetable oil before sliding into my car which has been something of a problem as of late.

What kind of floor mats you have? WeatherTechs, Husky's, factory rug, what?

If you're talking about the Z-logo floor mats that are an extra option from the dealer, I agree. The plastic place where you can rest your feet on the driver side was an annoyance to me from day one, since I tend to slide my heel on the carpet while using the clutch. I switched to heavy-duty WeatherTech's and never looked back.

You realize who you're asking this of, right?

That's why I got the floor mats that came from the factory or the ones that come from the dealership.

I don't have this problem since all floor mats come with the hook that keeps the mats in place.

Unless you have these floor mats, then it might explain why they're slippery:

Mine aren't too bad, but it keeps popping off the pegs and folding up against the pedals.
