I assume you just mean the plastic front?
Here's an aftermarket piece by Metra: Metra Part # 99-7607B | Nissan 370Z Dash kit | Metra Online Scosche: 2009 Nissan 370z DIN & Double DIN I would definitely go aftermarket. Nissan's piece is ridiculously priced: 680 Instrument Panel, Pad & Cluster Lid :: Body(Front,Roof & Floor) :: Genuine Nissan Parts :: 370Z Parts (Z34) 2009-2012 :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com |

thanks^ I see they both have different mounting holes and some differences. are they direct bold on for a double din pioneer or do I have to cut and modify anything?

I've got the Metra and honestly I can't remember. I think there is a tiny amount of cutting. Only because the kits are built for either single din with a pocket or double din. They are better than factory in that there is less of a gap around the HU.

I used to have the Metra Dash kit and now have the Scosche installed in my Z. In terms of which looks better, it really depends on what headunit you have installed. The Metra requires the use of an included trim ring where as the Scosche looks more like the original factory kit only is a little more narrow. Both units fit double din units without any gap.
I personally recommend the Metra for units with 6 inch displays like the Pioneer x940bt or Kenwood 6990 while the Scosche looks better with the full 7inch display like the Pioneer z140bh or Kenwood 9990.
