Trophy Nissan (where I got my last 3 Z's) does not put a front plate on either the Z or GTR. Classic Chevy (where I got my Vette) never put a front plate on.
I have never run a front plate on any of my cars (even non-Z's) and never gotten a ticket. I've gotten pulled over more than a few times for no front plate, but after I tell them that the dealer never put the front plate on (it's the truth), they let me go. It's not worth it to ruin the entire look of your car.
