Default Front License Plate!

Any ideas on how to put on your front license plate? Already got a ticket and don't want to drill. Not interested in paying 80 for a stillen towhook. I've heard of some diy tow hooks. Any help would be great.

Wire-tie it to the front grill

Look for a used Stillen license plate mount. I love mine.

Where do u live at? I'd just pay it and be done with it lol. I live in Houston and I never see cops writing tickets for no front plate unless you have multiple other violations. Not worth drilling into the bumper.

i'm in California, probably one of the most useless laws, I could have just paid for the stillen instead of the ticket.

isnt it just a $25 fix-it ticket? just buy the towhook attachment. 3 tickets and you've already got yourself a mount!!

i prefer gominigo's:

the Stillen kit is actually cheaper but seems more sturdy than that Gominigo kit. I risk it here in NY, once i get one i'll actually go out and get the Stillen kit

UnexpectedFar, I've got the gominigo kit on the front of my Nismo. Works well, is plenty sturdy and is way better than screwing the plate and bracket onto the bumper.

Trophy Nissan (where I got my last 3 Z's) does not put a front plate on either the Z or GTR. Classic Chevy (where I got my Vette) never put a front plate on.

I have never run a front plate on any of my cars (even non-Z's) and never gotten a ticket. I've gotten pulled over more than a few times for no front plate, but after I tell them that the dealer never put the front plate on (it's the truth), they let me go.

It's not worth it to ruin the entire look of your car.
