I think the 370z can benefit from vents like that, the engine bay gets really hot, especially without an oil cooler. I'm not a fan of the way they look, but I like the concept. I probably would like them better if they were painted to match, they just stick out a little too much.

I don't think rain would be a problem. I have run larger functional scoops on Mustangs and drove in heavy downpours without any problems whatsoever. I wonder if it is possible that the rain-cautions are really just a mythical thing?

rain would not effect the G3's
the G3's intakes on the G37 is right behind the grille....no one got hydro locked but also, don't go flooring around when it rains heavily...lol those vents look ugly, photoshop them to be colour matched and then it may look good...the idea is good |

How are they perfect for the G3 intakes? Wouldn't they just be blowing air on the intake pipe and not the filters? I think they would be better suited for those with short ram intakes or even stock intakes. I know on the Mine's ducts they actually go pretty far into the bumper, to direct air into the holes that pass through the factory radiator support and right into where a short ram filter would be. You would probably have to cut the back part of them to fit them with the Stillen G3s.

I'm not sure that the opening has to be right on top of the filter itself. This would create positive pressure behind the bumper which would help feed nice cool air into the filter.
