I don't think so....I can envision a "V" placed on the centerline to divert air left and right to the filters...Would be easy to fab up..

I think one would be enough, just get some fresh air up in that area. Plus, whatever doesn't get sucked up by the intake just flows through the radiator to help cooling anyway

So, would you put this below the black plastic housing, behind the black grilles?

That's what I'm thinking...

you can do it either way. Personally I'd put it up in the license plate holder area and cut out a hole. to me that would give you the best flow and wouldn't affect radiatior flow at all either.

True...You could go either way with this, though integrating it would be a lot more work. Plus, once you make the cut you're committed. $350 for the bumper + paint to correct..

I'm big on Uber functional Stealth mods..
Sometimes it doesn't pay to advertise....;)

haha, true. or you could just get the spawn carbon fiber cover if you ended up not liking the scoop there :)

thanks for reminding me of this thread Caravanshaka, Kinda took the cf thread off course there for a bit.

I think Modshacks solution is the best too... Definitely going to start tearing the bumper soon to get all these things together. I have more time for the car now so I'll be able to get something made too.

Modshack, how much for a pair of flanges like the ones you used? Or where should I look for them first? Homedepot or a hardware store?

Caravanshaka 07-06-2009 07:01 PM

sweet, keep us updated with pics and details of the route you go.
