front lip concerns

if i get a lip kit do i have to drill holes in my bumper?

cheshirecat 08-26-2012 06:31 PM

yes, usually. however, they are usually in places that do not affect resale- the inside of the wheel wells or the underside of the bumper. you will not drill into any "visible" surface with most lip kits- that's what the double-sided tape is for.

yes. Even more so if the fitment is not spot on.

Damn is there anyway not to put holes on the bumper

What's the problem? Is your car a lease that you will need to turn back in within 2-3 years? if not, then it should not matter. Do what you like and do it because you like how it will look.

yes, don't get a front lip. either that or expect it to fly off once you hit 50 miles an hour.
