Hey everyone i finally had the courage to do black housing headlights... first off i didnt upload anypics yet cuz my comp is laggy today ill post pics tomoro.. anyways... i was thinking of making a DIY for this... everyone please let me know if you guys want a DIY section for this mod... all you really need is patience and a heat gun... :happydance: but back to my headlights... the shity part about this mod is its a pain in the ***!!!! seriously but i think its worth it... and it only cost about 20 bucks =) but i just wanna remind all of you its 20 bucks to do but if you crack ur headlight... :shakes head: omg thats like im guessing 500 bucks a pop... :eek:

post a DIY with pics........20 bucks isnt bad if all works out well

damnit, I am doing a write-up for LED's and black housing this weekend...you beat me!! :shakes head:

hahah LEDs will be welcome :) do you need a heat gun or just an oven and some balls :p?

An oven and some balls LOL. I have done a few sets of headlights this way, not the Z but it's basically all the same. It's a pain but saves you quite a bit of money.

20 bucks compared to like 200+...something like that....and can go up to a grand

LED's arrive tomorrow, along with the factory matched paint. I just have to go pickup the black paint and the resistors and wiring and I'll be ready to pull everything apart saturday :tiphat:

Oh, and post up your DIY Simota, my headlights will be baked open, I won't be using a heat-gun so they will definitely be different. In for pics as well :)

I like what I see but would like to see in the day as well. Looks good and great job.

I am liking this, day shots would be nice, any chance of some better quality shots, though it may just be the lighting? :)
