Nice, looks awesome. CF Amuse is so sexy..
|
You may already have your source for carbon fiber doors, but for anyone else interested for a hefty price for CF doors, 2009+ Nissan 370Z SEIBON Carbon Fiber Doors Sport Compact Auto & Import Performance Superstore. By Seibon.
|
Yea seibon and I almost had a sponsorship like i mentioned but I turned them down. Ebay offers Seibon also but with Free Shipping :). I will probably buy the doors and hatch from seibon but not as a sponsorship.
The quarter panel will be done over the winter... When the car is garaged again :( |
Looking good! Subed for final results.
|

Did know you designed the amuse kit lol... Thought the real kit was developed by AMUSE :) And hood is kinda like a seibon gtr hood ;) Did you design the wheels too? and the roof? and the interior? Are you God? What about earth? There are so many questions I have for you... Like when will your car finally be finished? Are you sure you didnt abandoned your car? :roflpuke2: |
Fenders Are all mine. Hood and wing I had a part in designing ;)
Enjoy your stock powered car ;) |

CF lipped wheels chip all the time and billet would not want to have to deal with that every other month.
|

PLUS I drove it for second time in 9 months today and ALMOST GOT A TICKET lol I love the hummer, its make me want to stay at 55mph so I dont waste gas :icon17: |
Thats the jeep for me too HAHAHAHA!
|
no cf wheels! lol, that would be overkill.
But damnnn, from the front fenders forward that looks amazing. And a HUMMER??? What about the environment dude... those poor penguins. |

Might as well keep going and do the rest of the car starting from the chassis :P No but seriously, why not a trunk, doors and find something to cover the rear quarter?
|
Billet and me have been discussing this for months!!!

lol shut up chris...The car will be 100% carbon fiber by the end of the year. I have stopped for the next couple of months due to shows, znationals and I want to drive it before its winter again haha.. The Doors and hatch are simple additions, its the quarter panels that are causing me to wait until winter. The roof is even carbon fiber but the quarter panels are just tricky. The 350z has a few carbon fiber rear panel but NONE for the 370z yet. I tried to get seibon to make it but they said there isnt that much demand. WHICH IS IDIOTIC BECAUSE OF COURSE THERE IS NO DEMAND FOR A PRODUCT THAT DOESNT EXIST. I KNOW 90% OF THE TIME IF I DONT SEE SOMETHING, I DONT BOTHER ASKING SO THEY'RE ASSUMING AND RATHER THAN MAKE IT FIRST THEY WANT TO WAIT :/ which is the reason why i dont have any seibon parts :P cause they mean hah

bwahha ACTUALLY FUNNY THING... The H2 doesn't even have to have emissions because it weighs over 8500 lbs bwaahha.. The whole point of emissions is to be environmental friendly but yet, the most popular gas consumption SUV doesn't need one bwahhaa.. Sooooo all these BIG, HEAVY, GAS SUCKING trucks and suvs are exempted. BUT why do we have emissions again>? lol ALSO i meant SAVE as MUCH gas as possible lol... I like highway driving and It scares me to press the brake because i don't want to open the throttle :roflpuke2: TRUE STORY  |

This is NOT Amuse.
This is a KNOCKOFF. We normally would not post about something on a thread with knockoff parts because we hope that the owner of the car KNOWS what he or she is buying. HOWEVER, it has been stated multiple times on this thread that this is a CF Amuse kit, and it is not. We have a warm relationship working with Amuse. Their R&D and designs lead to excellent products (we just received 3 AUTHENTIC their Vestito kits in our last shipment in fact), and we want to make sure that the casual reader at least is AWARE of what they are seeing. Amuse never publicly offered a full CF kit. They have a CF overlay version and custom orders available. |

Second, I was in the market for a 100% carbon fiber body kit. Unfortunately POWERHOUSE does not make a carbon fiber kit so I came across this one. FINALLY.... I doubt this kit has any sort of trademark/copyright justification on it BUT FOR ARGUMENT SAKE lets say it did... THEN considering the "Carbon Fiber Amuse" kit consist of 10% or more design change, it wouldnt matter ;). This kit comes CLEAR coated unlike Powerhouse, COMES in FULL carbon fiber unlike Powerhouse and Is not offered in GEL COAT because its CF :) The term "Carbon Fiber Amuse" when used, is used for descriptive purposes only and are not meant to imply any affiliation with their mark holders. Unless otherwise protected by POWERHOUSE, that term is free use ;) I dont even sell this kit, I simply purchased it for myself. Our business model doesnt revolve in the "body kit" market. I find it interesting that you selected my thread amongst the SEVERAL other threads on the370z.com that almost every replica kit has been displayed, wasnt replied too. :icon14: AND FINALLY.... Here's the retail price of POWERHOUSE AMUSE VESTITO KIT 3P Kit - Front Bumper, Side Steps, Rear Bumper US $ 3,415.51 Front Bumper US $ 1,267.82 Full Kit - Front Bumper, Side Steps, Rear Bumper, Rear Wing US $ 4,567.39 IF you want to discuss ethical standards then explain why I purchased an ALL CARBON FIBER AMUSE KIT which was also CLEAR COATED and wetsanded, buffed and waxed, 3-piece comparison, for a LOT CHEAPER than the 3 pc Fiberglass NON PAINTED, NO CLEAR COAT, CHEAPER MATERIAL THAN WHATS OFFERED ON THE KIT I HAVE "carbon fiber is more expensive" but yea POWERHOUSE AMUSE feels its ethically/morally okay to charge customers $3,500-$4,500 PLUS shipping for something that isnt worth it? This looks better, made better, better quality material, comes finished but YET way cheaper???? doesnt make sense does it ;) |
