Carbon fiber doors

If we can please lock this thread that would be great. It seems that there is no interest and it might not be a great idea to create CF doors

If we can please lock this thread that would be great. It seems that there is no interest and it might not be a great idea to create CF doors afterall. I will put this interest into another product.

Default Carbon fiber interior door panels

To reduce weigh; why not fab up dry carbon fiber interior door panels? I not sure what the stock pieces weigh.

Put it this way. Stock door panels for big doors like those weigh enough ha.

just as a food for thought, the s2k doors even tho they're tiny are heavy as s**T. Amuse makes dry carbon doors which are ridiculously lightweight - something like 4 lbs a piece. You can use all oem interior panels and switches. Since the door is somewhat in the middle of the car, the weight balance wasn't affected in this case. People were saving around 100 lbs easy just with just the doors. The problem was that they are expensive to an extent where it just may not be worthwhile. So i think for you guys, if the price is right and is marketed properly it definitely will sell. Like another guy said above, ppl are focusing on modding other things before this but eventually they'll come to it.
