Led front strip light?

If I get the led strip light do I need a switch? Or will it turn on when the engine is on?

It depends on how you want to wire it. If you use a switch then you can turn it on or off on demand. You can use a constant power source like the battery or switched source which require the IGN to be in the on position.

I bought a kit

I am delighted with the Philips DRL-4 running light kit.

The controller that comes with the DRL-4 kit needs to tap into your parking lights' electrical lead to turn off the DRLs when the headlights are on.

No fuss, no muss.
