Yeah about the same here. Original estimate was $3800 but we're well above 5k now with that diffuser/air foil part ordered, rim replaced etc. They did a fantastic job on the painting etc but we can't figure out this particular part. Everything else is ideal.

Hmm, I have the same problem on my Nismo. The front lower fascia has that same gap. I've never hit anything so I'm not sure what going on. Let us know OP if replacing that piece is the fix.

Going to crosspost this to the nismo forum. Holy lol if it's supposed to be like that.

hi OP, i'd just like to let you know on my nismo i have that same gap, and usually i find leaves stuck in there.

i would take a picture, but i'm not in the country right now, probably some other nismo user could help out with pictures incase this is not normal.

good luck

Oh man I don't think I have the heart to tell them. They've already ordered the part.

Seems like a common issue. I've never hit anything and I have a slight gap on both sides..

I'm thinking this may be more "design" and less "issue"

there's a retaining bolt/clip that keeps it up against the bumper. is it there? mine ripped off somehow and i had to jimmy my own using a nut and bolt.

Yeah the body shop said it's a plastic "rivet" that holds that bottom piece in and they're all present and accounted for. There's just a gap at the end of the spoiler.

I guess the real question is, does anyone have a nismo that DOESN'T look like that? (and if so, please post a pic)

Discussion moved to the "front lip spoiler" thread in the nismo forum. Before/after pics posted of lower fascia install.

op look at the nismo thread posting pictures, the second pic shows the front lip and it seems like it doesnt have a gap, so i'm guessing mine might be defective...

still it's not a close up, so i might be wrong... anyways good luck
