I really like the Top Secret CF lip. Plus, it looks like it would cover up the same surface area as the Stillen lip, so you wouldn't be left with marks from the splitter.

any updates on this? I am thinking of removing it all for good LOL I have coke cans in the garage to hold it up after each day of driving.......

what do you guys think? does it actually look good enough to deal with the trouble?

Get support rods which may aid with your problem instead of coke cans. Show us a recent picture of your lip to see if it looks bad or not? Some members expirience a slight bend right in the middle which you can live with, but if the bend is severe enough or its oddly warped then its no good.

I'll get a picture later. Since i support it every night in the garage, it's not bad, but its just annoying LOL... I heard braces won't even work...

Of course braces will work, its the "reverse" support of your coke can solution. I am not sure you told you it wouldn't.

Just as long as you place the rods where the lip is at its weakest, then you should be ok.

The problem with this lip is the middle section where they removed material for looks. If they would have left it thick all the way across there would be no issues. I was going to work on my aluminuim support for the underside yesterday after I installed my new front rotors but didn't get around to it. I will post some pics when it gets installed.

I agree with you completely. There is no skeleton regidity in the middle section which may cause the warping.

I went to Home Depot and bought an aluminium L shaped sheet that I plant to install underneath the lip and bolt on with the rods. This will provide all the regidity the lip needs.

Yeah you can definitely feel where it has the potential to sag just by running your hand across the lip.

It does look awesome! It's one of the few lips that isn't crazy looking. Subtle and clean.

Forgive my noobness, Im new to aero mods,I like this lip too, will have to see about modding it. I have a silly question tho...are you guys painting these lips or just put them on unpainted? I want to do this lip, evo side blades and shineauto rear add ons(paint match) but want the lip and blades black,if Ido not have to paint them that would be great.
