Slightly different scale than the 370z emblem but that doesn't bother me at all. Pretty sure that 370z logo is the same no matter which trim you buy so I don't think it looks any different than the others. Nothing I can do about the license plate. That's kinda up to the state of Maryland.

Just got these...

The Good: The "Z"'s look great -- the chrome looks OEM quality. Very nice, especially for the price.

The Bad: Don't know about the cf backing, but the plain black backing appears to be paper?! It doesn't lie very flush, and deforms against the car when affixed.

Also, how well will this backing survive rain or washing?

The backing needs to be hard PLASTIC.

I'd really like it if EVO-R could send me a fresh backing that I can affix if I want to of painted plastic. Otherwise, I'm going to have to chop up a coffee can lid or something.

I don't know how much a plastic backing would add to the cost, but it REALLY needs it.

I give this product 8.5/10. It could easily be 10/10 with a better backing solution.

I agree. I don't like the paper backing.

I won't be happy if the backing falls apart.

That said, I did wash the car the day after I installed them and didn't see any sign of warping.

NavyBoy, are they curved like the OEM emblems to fit to the contour of the car? Do they cover the hole in the bumper and do they have the little holes on the back to match up to the little "nubs" on the bumpers?

Superman logo anyone?

Would be interesting to see a black background with just the Z in the gray.

There is a backing plate to cover the hole. If you read the OP's post you will see that the plate comes in different options.

The nubs will have to be cut off.

Car is in the shop right now for wheel powder so I had them go ahead and seal the backs of those emblems as well just for my piece of mind.
