Hatch gap between hatch and bumper uneven...

It's off by about a quarter inch, is it normal?

My Z's rear bumper where it meets with my left taillight and hatch has a little wider gap than my right...not sure if this is what you mean??

Pretty sure mine is the same... it should be adjustable to some degree but you will probably end up making it worse.

Same. It isn't normal, and actually causes some rattling with the hatch occasionally. Other Z owners don't have such gaps.

After I rolled my 240Z I swapped the roof out with one from another 240. Had that hatch alignment issues after that. Guess I was off a little when welding the new roof on.... Couple of washers to split the difference and noone was the wiser.

Hope that's not the issue you're seeing.

Sorry for the revival folks, parked in my garage and freaked a bit, my passenger side of the hatch is definitely not sitting as low as the driver side which is perfectly flush so what are the fix suggestions for this?

Put some pennies in there to even out both sides.
