Black fangs on Blue: No paint and no overlays......>
Yeah, I cheated..;)....Had to have a new nose (and hood) installed. Had them mask and just not paint the fang area. The bumper material is a matte black plastic. No worries about chipping. If it doesn't weather well I'll just overlay it. May do the same thing on the back valence area when the parts are in to fix that end..Just got the car back. I like it!
(yeh, I know..The hood latches need adjusting! Done after these pics!) http://images32.fotki.com/v1061/phot...MG_1821-vi.jpg http://images32.fotki.com/v1102/phot...MG_1820-vi.jpg http://images47.fotki.com/v1474/phot...MG_1824-vi.jpg |
Looks good . I'm tempted to do this but I need to see how it looks from a distance. Can you take a picture for me, Modshack?
Park your car and then walk 20 ft. Then take front shot. Kinda like this but about 20-30 feet away. Thanks. |
AK....Here's one from a bit further back:

That does looks good... I guess I see a project coming:excited: |
How much did cost?

?? It was part of the accident damage repair from when I was pushed into a Jeep Cherokee... $3500 total for all the front work and paint. The nose itself is only $350 though.. |

Looks decent!! IMO you need more back on your car for a better look (wheels, headlights etc) Blue/Black is a very sexy combo
