Black Chrome
 

Anyone know where to go to get your headlights done up in Black Chrome? OH and since i see lots of new threads on plasti-dip. It's one of the SIMPLEST mods you can do its, cheap easy and the end result looks Amazing. Cant go wrong with Plasti-Dip.

1. Take apart headlight
2. paint with black chrome paint
3. ?
4. Profit

I was going to do my headlights in a black chrome, but it's really hard to do and after trying a few different methods, I wasn't confident enough to do it to my Z headlights.

I wanted them to look similar to this..

I tried taking some gloss black base coat and reducing the **** out of it so that it's almost clear. But it's extremely hard to get an even coat, and when you build it, it just gets darker and darker. It's hard to make it not look like crap... so, I scraped the project.

Yeah the SIR headlights. What about if they get wrapped in that color, how long would it last?

ive been to 180, multiple times. I left a 800$ deposit with them and then after almost 2 months and being told that i could leave the car in the shop and etc.. Nothing ever got done with them. I actually spoke with them to try it again a little over a month ago and im assuming they're very busy because they send me an email once every 3 weeks or so. But 180 does not offer the black chrome option.
