Electrical Guru's Help Needed w/ Switch
Let me start by saying if you didn't know already...the Z is not able to do a power brake (gas and brake at same time) to do a burnout..whether to lineup for a drag or just be stupid.
The only way to accomplish this is to pull the brake fuse. this kills the ABS and brakes but allows you to burnout all day. Im looking to install a switch in line with the fuse but having trouble coming up with a way to do this. any input would be appriciated.

i would get one of those add-a-circuit things, bridge the 2 female spade connectors using a SPST toggle and walla. if you want to keep the fuse (which i recommend), just put one in series.
do at your own risk. the 10A in the pict below is where the original circuit goes through. just wire up a switch and a new fuse in series. never mind the 5A fuse location. leave it blank. you can do it without this thing but just in case you want to pull it out for a dealer visit or something. |
