Is Goo Gone safe to use on the paint?
Is it?
|
It's ok. Not the best, but ok. Just don't confuse goo gone with goof off - a lot of people do. goof off is basically stripper.

It was safe on my car. I tried it to remove 3M tape residue. It didn't do a darned thing so I ended up using Auto Finesse ObliTARate. That stuff worked like a charm. You could also try Tarminator (I haven't used it), same type of product as ObliTARate.

its fine to use on paint. just wipe it down after you're done with it. it works very well to get rid of adhesive

Just used this stuff tonight to change my emblems. Now I smell like oranges. Bad oranges, but oranges anyway. :icon14:

try bounce sheets! on tar and bugs. works like a charm.

Better than all of the above is called using a clay bar;)

WD40 is your friend.
