Carbon fiber hoods?

Hey just a quick q ive been looking into getting a TS style hood but i live in NY and it rains often, you think itll mess up the engine

Default Carbon fiber hoods?

Hey just a quick q ive been looking into getting a TS style hood but i live in NY and it rains often, you think itll mess up the engine in anyway? too much water getting in etc.. ? Thanks!

I've had multiple CF hoods with vents and I don't have a garage. I live in VA which has its share of rain and I've never had an issue. Over 2+ years combined with the two hoods.

That's just my hope it helps make your decision a little easier.

I've had a vented hood for about 8 months...been thru a few rainstorms...never a problem here.

Your intakes aren't in a place where the vents would put water on them, so as long as you're not driving with wires showing or the fuse box lid missing, you should be fine.
