Z on the Fenders?

does anyone know what it would take to remove the little Z from the front fenders? I want to have a completely shaven look to my car, i don't want any badges and im wondering if im going to need to get a whole new fender to accomplish that or if i can simply just remove it. Thanks

It's lighted - comes on with the turn signals. That would seem to imply that it's bolted on and there must be a hole for the wiring. I'm sure you could unbolt it, but you'd have to secure the wiring and weld/grind/paint the holes. That would still probably be cheaper than aftermarket fenders, but maybe you'd find some such fenders that have a more attractive contour.

It comes out very easily. Push the front side of the light towards the rear of the car, works on both sides. Wiggles out easy once you slide it back. A body shop can definitely fill those in with some work or you can buy aftermarket fenders with it already filled in.

thanks guys i might just buy the oem fenders and repaint them due to the fact that im not a big fan of the fenders out there the only ones i do seem to like are on the MR Works Z

You can? When I had to get my passenger side fender replaced, the OEM fender that was used already had the holes for the Z to be inserted.

If you can point me to these fenders and where to buy them let me know.

I'm pretty sure you can order either the carbonsignal or aerojacket fenders without the opening.

Yeah i got my carbon signal fenders w/CF vent made from OEM fenders coming. You can order them with or without the Z marker hole, i like the Z so i kept it.

I doubt it, unless you remove the plastic inner fender liner?
