New carbon fiber interior pieces
8 Attachment(s)
Though i would share these with you guys, Tony of carbon fiber element just sent me these pics. Initially i had Tony do my steering wheel as well as my center council in carbon fiber, I loved his work so much that i had him do more interior parts for me, what i had done now are the window switches, the map light, and the part that i am most looking forward to is the gauge cluster surrounding and the gauge cluster hat, i was very impressed as some pieces were small and intricate and Tony managed to get them done. Initially i did not want to disassemble the gauge parts and send them to Tony as it was going to be a hustle for me to drive around with that part of the car disabled, so what i did was purchase the parts needed brand new for nissan courtesy parts, have them shipped to Tony directly and he worked his magic with them. The finished parts should be shipping by this week, will post pics when installed, for now enjoy these pics and would love to hear your feed back as usual :tiphat:

You should now have enough spare parts to build what-3? 4? additional Z's?

Looks good so far. I'll check back for installed pics!
You better have a nice interior or all that carbon is going to make the rest of the interior look weak ;) |

i guess im guna have to go against the grain here and say that certain parts of the pieces dont look very good. as in the picture below, the weave is crooked on one side and doesnt match the other. (red lines) knowing that i will be looking at the dash alot it would kill me.

Again good find on the crooked pattern but again I probably would not have noticed. Look great!!
|
actually crooked grain is pretty common on real cf parts so that gives it character, i think.

Ohh thnx bro, so I'm assuming that it's not that difficult to remove
|
service manual says to stick a interior tool from the front of the ceiling towards the map light assembly to get at the metal clips, but i dont like pulling down on the ceiling at all so i'd first see if u can gently give pull-bursts and pull it out without breaking anything.
