looks like it's just held on by 2 metal clips. i looked at the service manual.

service manual says to stick a interior tool from the front of the ceiling towards the map light assembly to get at the metal clips, but i dont like pulling down on the ceiling at all so i'd first see if u can gently give pull-bursts and pull it out without breaking anything.
