Yep... I think we have to be specific here. There seem to be three styles that we have to differentiate because we cant make everyone happy.

1) Lip kit - Simple, some functionality (air splitters, slight df), accents.

2) Street body kit - for the street, some functionality (air splitters, slight df, cooling ducts/vents) but mostly for styling.

3) Race body kit - Fully functional for downforce and cooling.

If you want to be successful, you will have to commit to one. Otherwise you will make a crappy version of all 3.

I agree somewhat...

You can focus on a the full kit and also focus on a lip kit. I keep saying it:

The Mine's front lip is very nice; delete the upper canard and you have a PERFECT front lip. Replicate and sell!

The Mine's rear spoiler lip is outstanding! Fuse this with the stock spoiler and make a one piece spoiler. Sell it!

If you must have a side lip, Vencitai (i know i butchered that spelling) makes a perfect lip for the sides.

Those front and rear spoiler would not be too difficult to focus on (I would assume...) and they could still focus on the full body kit. Now, they could not do them all at once, maybe that what you are saying RCZ and I did not interpet you correctly...

Agreed to the two top posts.

If we do 3 kits at a time they will be rushed and I might as well send you a civic bumper because it might just fit better than a 3 rushed kits at a time.

The lip kit is a definite but we would need a car for about 2 weeks to go forward with this kit but we wouldn’t be able to take any cars in until mid july.

The first kit we are going to do is a wide body on bullitts car which I want to do perfect to really set us aside. The wide body we want to create to be aerodynamically efficient as well as a too kool for school look. We wont be able to do this unless we have a few interested buyers and at least a deposit from one or two people. We need this because if we are going to take 3 weeks - a month to create a whole new body for a car, we need it to have the money to back us up for a month of lost other work. Since bullitt is working on the kit with us, its up to him on the designs and the interest. We will just build from there.

After that I will get some designs and create a thread for you guys to pick which design you guys like best as far as the street or performance package body kit. So when it comes to the second build, its up to you guys if you want a lip or a full kit, then a performance or a looks kit. We want to leave this to you as a community.

After that if the runner up kit has allot of interest we then can move on to a 3rd kit.

I apologize if I’m confusing you all but I hope I’m being clear haha. How long its going to take to create these 3 kits on top of other side jobs and creations? I’m not too sure exactly because again this is no 1 week job. But who knows maybe after we get a few products out they will be hot enough to let us grow like weeds in a back yard and then we might be able to have two teams working on two designs at once.

Only time will tell

But like RCZ said above. If we take on too many at once they all will lack in quality so all we need is patience. And in that time we will hopefully be able to create a design that will cater to every bodies taste.

I agree...

You can do all three but yes individual detail must be used on each form factor as they appeal to different markets... Just because you decide to make a full product line from top to bottom, from lip kit to widebody does not mean the product line will suck or fail! It all just takes TIME!!!

I wasnt clear enough. I didnt mean if you do them all at the same time you will do a poor job on all 3. Although that is true. What I meant was; don't go out trying to please everyone with one kit because you will end up with a mediocre kit that doesnt fully satisfy anyone.

I think its awesome that you want to start with such a big challenge....needless to say tackling the biggest challenge first means that you are going to know all the small quirks for the other kits. Personally, I'm not all that interested in a widebody, I think if I had a show car I definitely would LOVE to have one, but I can already fit 325's in the rear so there is no real performance aspect for me. I will definitely give you my input though This is a process I would like to be involved in.

When you decide to make a racier version...I'm in

RCZ the widebody will be performance based and optimized for the least aerodynamic drag as well as taking advantage of the best possible down force designs I am going to start a thread on peoples opinions of the design and would love your input!
