Mine is kind of noticeable, especially the passenger side.
I'm taking another stab at it myself now before I give up (and have someone else work on it). The car is on jack stands with with both fender liners removed and I'm about to start loosening all the bolts that connect the Amuse bumper. Right now I am looking at the intake tubes and trying to come up with a solution to prevent the from rubbing the fender liners. Has anyone else addressed this problem? I might be able to zip tie them somewhere to...something and pull them back from the liners a few mm, but I'm worried if the fender liners can rub through the black paint and metal on the Injen tubes, zip ties may do the same. Also, still, any pics of modified and/or properly attached fender liners would be helpful and appreciated! |

Well I ended up redoing it a second time, and then made the holes underneath a little bigger as needed so it isn't being pulled one direction or another when I screw the bolts back in. Not perfect, but much better and much less noticeable than before. Hopefully it stays as I drive.

Thanks guys. The fender liners have been cut and reinstalled. They fit nicely and it looks good! As for the intake tubes, I simply stuck some pipe insulation over the rub points with some two-sided tape, and further covered that with duct tape. That will do for now. I'm not sure how it'll hold up in the long run, but I'll be sure the check it as I change the oil and clean the filters.
