Plasti Dip Flakey Gold
 

hey guys! Well i wanted to test something new and do gold rims! Everyone has black rims now a days, i was thinking about doing white rims but i had changed my mind becauase i prevouisly got iron man lights so might as well make my car look like the iron man! I bought 3 gold plasti dip cans and 5 black plasti dips. the gold does NOT stick to any other color except black. I had to do 3 coats of black and 2 of gold. The more gold you spray the golder the rims look! I only did it to see what people think about it till i get my new rims.. Just a new look! Check them out tell me what you think. :tup:

It's interesting. I guess since the car is at stock height and those are 18's (?)... I don't like it too much. However, I know red and gold look great! So with that said, maybe if you bought aftermarket wheels, dropped the ride, and threw on another coat or two of gold (make it brighter) I think it would look fresh!!

Oh and I'm not a fan of the emblems being painted. Sorry, just my opinion =D

I thought about doing gold for my car, but I decided on using the silver metalizer to get more of a dark gunmetal color.

no me gusta. The emblems look like it was sprayed too thick.

I think it looks awesome! Red and gold are a good combo.

That looks really good! I dont care what anyone says, the stock 18's look pretty decent for stock wheels. I actually prefer then over the sport 19's that remind me of a snake tongue.
