Default Window Tint

So I need to get my windows tinted I know that Lumar and 3M tinting are the best. The problem is that I only have one place that does Lumar tinitin and they are charging me a hole butt load. I do not have a 3M tinting installer.

I found this place that will tint my car for 100 bucks but I never heard of the tint brand Xsun window films. Can someone tell me if this is a good tint?

Never heard of that tint brand and judging by the cost of tint and installation, I'd be wary. I called about getting my Z tinted and was quoted at least $200 for all windows except front windshield using Lumar tint.

Try checking Groupon. I got my tints done for 150 using 3M and a lifetime warranty from Groupon. You just have to be a little patient.

I just got mine tinted with Llumar. I could of got it tinted for $175 if I got the classic or whatever its called...lowest quality. But as you step up in coverage the cost goes up. It ended up costing me $300 out the door for the Llumar Formula One Pinnacle. It protects the most from UV rays and blocks out the most heat. It also does not use any metallic particles that could possibly interfere with electronics i.e bluetooth, SAT radio, etc. All in all they did a great job and have done a great job on other Z's in the area that was the deciding factor to me. I could of taken it to the installer that did my truck in 3M but they scratched the hell out of the door jams getting in a out . It boils down to a place you can trust to do the work honestly. I will pay a little more to know they will take care of the ride while they are working on it and not scratch it.

How did you avoid the infamous "window tint peeling issue?"

If you go to a place that has tinted a Z before or knows what they are doing they put enough tint to compensate for the little bit the window rolls down to prevent it from peeling.

By the way the Forumla One Pinnacle comes with a lifetime warranty so if you ever have an issue with it take to a certified Llumar installer and they will fix it or replace it.

I do not have the door windows tinted -- only the hatch and rear quarters.

I'm also in Huntsville so I was hoping you could PM the installer's name/address to me.

TIA,
