x2. I got a brand new one sitting in my attic. I guess it's for sale since I will not need it in Jersey Roads

Agreed. I replaced the one on my Vette at around 30k miles. I've already had my 370z to the shop to have a rivet drilled out and a new, larger one put back in because I took the corner off going over a deeply "V'd" driveway at an angle.

The guy who drove my Z from being prepped to the showroom for delivery parked it too far in to the curb and scraped that chin spoiler. The dealership replaced it and let me keep the original one. I'm sure spoiler scraping is going to be a common annoyance.

Don't worry too much about scraping the chin spoiler.
Have fun with the car and enjoy with your normal driving. It is only rubber/plastic and the scraping does not harm the car. Furethermore, it can be replaced easily and it only costs $160. I plan to replace mine every two years or when a new version come out on the next year model. |

A well designed coilover system will not change handling in a bad way at all. Assuming you get the appropriate adjustable suspension pieces that are recommended for lowering (camber and toe mainly) and align and corner-balance the car you will be amazed at how much better the car is at handling everything from normal daily driving to track. The car does handle incredibly well from the factory, but that doesn't mean it can't be improved. |

The guys at my dealership said don't even bother putting it on given the roads here in LA, it'll just get torn up and you'll hear it all the time.
So mine is brand new in the back of my car too. |

I don't have the Sport Package and thus don't have the Chin Spoiler, but even so, my wind deflectors scrape things all the time! Both the center one and the wheel ones. But they're rubber, so whatever. I just can't imagine having that Chin Spoiler if even my wind deflectors scrape all the time....
