Default Want to change the interior

I recently purchased my new nissan 370z sport package; I regret not getting the touring. Know I want to see if I can change the seats of the car to factory leather seats. Does anyone know if this is possible and make the heat seat work?

Someone was just selling some aftermarket seats on here for like 800-1000 bucks with shipping. Thats a steal if I had the money and wanted to change the interior..

yah +1 and keep an eye open in the for-sale section. sometimes people buy racing seats and sells their stockers.

also check online for seat covers. some of the leathers sold aftermarket looks just as good.

I don't think it would be that difficult... you need the seats and the switch... not sure if it is already wired for the heated seats but even if it isn't they can't be that difficult.

I had the dealer install Katzkin leather seat and door upholstery as part of the purchase of the car (through Costco) for just under 1k. Very happy so far.

Financially, you're probably better off buying aftermarket seats. Unless you want to wait it out and try to find some touring seats on here like the guys above suggested.

If you go aftermarket, stick with a manufacturer who produces SFI or FIA certified seats. At least then you know that they know how to make a safe seat, even if the exact model you buy isn't certified.

I believe in one of the part out for sale threads, someone was selling pretty new Persimmon seats in the 1k area.

I used these on my Z, The fitment is good, it will also add some more cushioning to the seat. Only thing I will say is it will tighten up the width for your back/legs.
