for a race car I like it.. for the street nope
|
It is a track wing, plain and simple. Anyone with good taste can not possibly think it looks good for a street car.
As for where to get one, it's a guy Mike making them and selling under the name Kognition. It is carbon fiber on the outside, but a bunch of aluminum glued inside. The only "custom" part are the mounts. If serious about track use, there are lighter/stronger options... |
Even though this is truely a funtional wing 100%. It's pretty aggressive, especially the brackets. If you want a more conservative looking/ functional wing I'd suggest the APR Performance GTC 200 univeral wing. Which is what I have. Below is several pics of my setup. The first set of pics is the wing itself when I first had it mounted. The second set is where I've just recently added 2.5'' riser to get the wing in cleaner air making more funtional. Plus this wing comes at a great price. Way more affordable than others while you still get funtion and looks IMO.

Kognition Wings... http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...75763480_n.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...34206495_n.jpg http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...74547851_o.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3867217_n.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...1_899158_n.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._3475497_n.jpg http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._5223941_n.jpg OP, Kognition still makes that wing element design that you can order, but unfortunately he no longer has the molds to make the 370Z specific mounts so if you want a Kognition wing you will have to find a place to get some mounts made for the 370Z or by that wing that you have in the picture, which is the only 370Z kit ever made by Kognition. |
^ so what's your point? :bowrofl:
|
Well the point is on the photos!

The spoiler not just only for heavy track or racing. Absolutely no no no!! Well u can use it as a ladder. Like to reach something high (moving ladder???:))Or u can use it when u go concert sit on the spoiler then problem solve! Or turn your music on and stand on the spoiler then u on the stage. A lot of things can do on this spoiler. Interesting..... Lol!
But the main thing to have this spoiler is Let the chicks sit on it. Just kidding guys!! Just messing around. Lol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Huan Huynh. |
You have to respect the engineering on that wing.

As for the construction of it, cut one open and see. It's not that hard to build a wing someone can stand on... Making mounts for any wing to fit on a 370z should be simple for any competent shop. |

The design of Kognition wing was based on the 2008 Williams F1 wing. It's actually better than most of the wings that come out from computer software. Just saying.
